Soiles career as a knitter was about to get bogged down in the school as teacher was threatening fail mark if the mittens would not get finished. Nowday her needles are dancing every day: yarns are jiggling and stitches are swinging. In yarn stores she navigates by the colors and her shopping basket is full of hand dyed wools. Colors have a big role in her day job too, Soile works as a graphic designer. Take a closer look at her knitting life at neulovanarttu.blogspot.fi or at Instagram @s.pyhanniska
Briochea silmukka silmukalta / Brioche stitch by stitch
Brioche might look difficult to knit, but do not fear! This class is intended for beginners. You will learn a swatch with two-colors and you’ll learn the anatomy of brioche and all stitches used while knitting brioche. You’ll learn to cast on and bind off using both colors.
Once you know the basics Soile teaches decreases and increases, that are the key element in brioche patterns.
For the class you will need two yarns that have enough contrast, suitable needles for the yarns and one extra needle for the decreases.
Class is in Finnish.
