We hope you find answers to your questions from this page. If something is unclear do not hesitate to ask us! You can ask on our Ravelry-group or by e-mail.
How long can I wait to purchase?
Ticket sale is a significant part of the festival coming together, and if tickets don’t sell enough, some classes cannot be held. This in mind we’ve tried to collect variety of interesting and inspiring classes for you all! Last year some of the classes sold out quite fast, and we encourage our customers to be quick.
How can I buy tickets to classes?
All tickets will be sold via Zupticket. Once you purchase your ticket, it will appear onto your zupticket-wallet. Once you are coming to class, show your e-ticket using zupticket-application.
What classes are taught in English and what are in Finnish?
We have specified the language in the course info.
Is there anything else besides the classes?
Yes, there will be. Once we put the classes out we will focus on the festival program. If you have any ideas about the program you can tell us on our Ravelry-group and you can even volunteer and make the event come true! We’d love to hear your ideas and wishes.
I bought a ticket to a class but I can’t make it. How should I proceed?
The purchase is non-returnable. If you’ve bought a ticket but cannot participate, we recommend that you try to sell your ticket for example in our Raverly-group. Once you’ve sold the ticket you can send the e-ticket to its new owner via e-mail.
How is the marketplace open?
The marketplace is open for public Friday and Saturday from 10AM. If you purchase Knit Fest items from Zupticket (tickets to classes, lectures and parties, merchandises) for 200e, you can access the marketplace at 9am Friday.
Where do the classes take place?
All the classes are held in walking distance from Toivola Old Courtyard. We will list all the venues into our website, once the classes are on sale.
You can find a map with all the venues from our festival magazine.

Is there diners or restaurants in the area?
Yes. Toivola Old Courtyard is located near the city of Jyväskylä and there are plenty of restaurants walking distance away.
Where can I park my car?
The festival doesn’t have it’s own parking area but there are plenty parking opportunities in the uptown area. Next to Toivola Old Courtyard at Hannikaisenkatu is a small area for cars. Nearest parking hall is at the crossroad of Vapaudenkatu and Vaasankatu, just a block away from the marketplace.
Can I bring my baby to the class?
No. We want to ensure that our classes are distraction-free, so please don’t bring your baby to the class. Children are welcome to the general festival area though!
